New Line Tailors

New Line Tailors has been stitching for Tambaram since 2011, from our shop on Kakkan Street in New State Bank Colony — opposite the Raymond showroom, a stretch most of Tambaram West knows by heart. Some of our customers have been coming to us for more than two decades.

We are known for suits and coats above all. A jacket is the hardest thing a tailor makes: the shoulder has to sit, the lapel has to roll, the sleeve has to hang without pulling. That is the work we have built our name on. Alongside it we stitch men's formals, ladies wear, wedding and party outfits, and we take on institutional and corporate orders.

We also deliver finished garments to your door, so a busy week does not mean an unfinished order sitting on our rack.

Formal Shirt Stitching Shirts cut to your measurements — collar, cuff, chest and sleeve length set to you rather than to a standard size. Choose your collar style, cuff type and pocket preference. Repeat orders are quick once measurements are on file.

Casual & Party Shirt Stitching Casual shirts, printed and textured fabrics, and shirts for functions. Relaxed cuts, short or full sleeve, finished the way you want to wear them.
